Pretty good empanadas and the yuca balls which was my first time eating it. I was not sure what exact type of latino or Caribbean cuisine this cafe serves.

Indulging in the Sweet Corn Costa Rican Pancake and Chorreadas was an exquisite culinary journey that left my taste buds dancing with delight. These dishes are a testament to the rich and diverse flavors of Costa Rican cuisine.The Sweet Corn Pancake was a revelation. Its unique blend of sweet corn kernels and savory pancake batter created a harmonious marriage of taste and texture. Each bite was a delightful surprise, and the drizzle of maple syrup elevated the experience to sheer perfection.The Chorreadas, with their wholesome corn goodness and a hint of cheese, were a savory sensation. These griddled corn pancakes had a rustic charm that transported me to the heart of Costa Rica. Paired with a dollop of crema fresca, they were simply irresistible.

GREAT PLACE! Staff are so nice and funny here. Place is very convenient for its location. They do have the best empanadas in the state, but I think it’s better than that. It is worth a trip no matter where you are. this business is GREAT!

We love this restaurant!!! The food is delicious and creative! And they have the best empanadas in NJ! The staff is very nice and the decor is pretty and interesting! We could eat there everyday! The menu has many choices.

Tried it for the first time for lunch and loved it! Staff were welcoming and the food was great. The empanadas are a definite must try -- I recommend the beef chipotle. We took some to go afterwards, too. Dulce de Leche coffee was pretty decent, & we also had the Lomito Sandwich & Gallo Pinto. Overall very filling and delicious!

The food was great! Empanadas are really really good. We tried different variety of empanadas and all were very good. The best was option of vegetarian empanada. It's a BYOB place so that's a plus. The location is fantastic on a vibrant street.

I ordered sweet plantains and they sent me 6 little pieces of maduros for 6 dollars .. you can see the size in the picture.. .. this is not right.. write a small description on the plate to avoid comments.. DoorDash refunded me

I took a stroll on Division Street in Somerville, and a sign caught my eye: the best empanadas in New Jersey. My curious taste buds had to see if this was actually true. I've had my share of empanadas that were disappointing, but I thought giving this restaurant's empanadas a try might be worth it. The dough was crispy yet soft; the real beef filling was flavorful and tender. The right amount of filling to curb your appetite before lunch. The cilantro and bell pepper sauce was excellent. It was a great pairing with the empanadas added mild heat for an extra punch of flavor. If you're in doubt about whether or not to get the sauce; get it. I will definitely be back for beef empanadas and excited to try their sweet empanadas.
